Ron Dobbs
Graduating from Texas A&M in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science, Ron immediately embarked upon a career in sales. Selling a wide variety of products to many different industries has yielded a distinctive blend of experience, wisdom, and knowledge over a span of 50 years. Ron has received numerous awards and accolades for his sales achievements during his career.
Ron describes his life with one word, “I would say passion has been the driving force behind most things that I do and consider important. Through my 50 plus years in sales, I have made many lifelong relationships.I have been honored to serve on the board of directors for three different associations, serving two as President. I have had the pleasure to Chair the Scholarship Programs for Food Science Majors at Texas A&M University and Texas Tech University.”
Ron’s passion for sales in “HELPING OTHERS” resulted in authoring two sister books. “DARE TO DREAM – CAREER SALES” AND “DARE TO DREAM – CREATING SUCCESS”.
In career sales Ron says, “Helping Others” is what selling is all about! “That’s what we do! Help others achieve their dreams. I have found that as long as I help others, I will never have to worry about myself.”
Known for a tendency to not only step out of his box, Ron often jumps out of the box with both feet kicking! At age 55, Ron once again took a huge leap forward to actively pursue the sport of rodeo. After Ron personally deemed it impossible, he was encouraged by a friend to get into Team Roping.
“Many of my family and friends suggested I was crazy! Team Roping to them seemed a bit aggressive at my age. I did ok! Retired now! But, never underestimate this ole’ Cowboy. Lot’s of good horses ready to go!”
